ClearSky Labs maintains the world's most comprehensive listing of public SaaS applications with a 42-point risk profile for each application and vendor. We believe every enterprise is different and as such, practitioners and management need more than a subjective single point risk score like those provided by URL filtering applications with which to make and support good policy decisions.

 

The public SaaS application marketplace is highly dynamic and growing daily. Today, there are more than 10,000 different applications available on the internet to anyone with a browser. This is simply too much for any one enterprise to track and inefficient to research on a one-by-one basis. Most of these applications allow users to store and/or process enterprise data assets. By keeping this list up-to-date for all of our customers, we are able to spread the cost of that service broadly through our services. ClearSky invites all vendors of these applications to certify their profiles. Certified profiles may be used by reference in SLA and enterprise contracts, holding the vendors accountable for the accuracy of the information. Even when certified, ClearSky Labs analysts trust but verify the information provided by the vendor.
